Managing Director
Dr Carim Akintunde was appointed Director of Geoscience, NAE, Eni Nigeria in 2015 where he managed all subsurface activities, PSC’s and new projects for 3 companies (NAOC, NAE & AENR). Prior to this, he managed ENI’s involvement in deep offshore operations and coordinated NAE’s technical activities across the entire value chain, ensuring compliance with approved budget, policies and procedures. Dr Akintunde has also worked as Corporate Upstream business division manager managing Eni’s upstream business and Managed Opportunities in new projects and co-ordinate/follow up ongoing development projects and production operations. He holds a BSc and MSc. in Geology from the University of Ibadan and a PHD in Technology management from University of Ife, Nigeria.
Legal Advisor
A commercially orientated upstream oil and gas lawyer with extended experience advising on the acquisition and divestiture of exploration / production assets and on M&A deals as well as overseeing legal and commercial transactions of oil operators and service companies in Africa. Stacey is currently a partner at McCarthy Denning. Furthermore, Stacey is an FCA regulated financial advisor and has additional legal and commercial experience in the acquisition of mining rights, litigation funding, corporate finance, lending, enforcement and intellectual property licensing in the entertainment industry. Director
Iyior Abumere is the Business Development and Geoscience Manager at Carent Oil and Gas with a wealth of experience in geology, geophysics and petroleum economics. Iyior has assumed several high-profile positions such as Senior Project Manager at Talisman-Sinopec delivering a multimillion-pound subsea tie back well and providing subsurface inputs to the $500million Tartan redevelopment, Senior Geologist on Shell’s flagship project in Nigeria and as Development Geologist Project Leader at PA Resources in charge of PA’s North Sea, North Africa and West African Assets. He led efforts in the appraisal, development and management of BP’s largest subsea assets – PSVM and Greater Plutonio. As Project Director at ZAIL, he supervised a technical team in delivering a billion-dollar field development plan for a cross block development offshore Angola.
Corporate Strategy & Business Improvement
Celine Loader is a Business & Brand strategist with over 25years’ experience from a variety of organizations, including a blue-chip multinational. She has worked in diverse sectors: Technology (with software giant Microsoft UK, Africa and Middle East); Banking (with United Bank for Africa, First Bank of Nigeria and the Regulator, Central Bank of Nigeria, as Director of Marketing and Communications); Media (as founding Executive Director of ASPIRE Media Ltd, UK); Oil & Gas (as Board Advisor in SEPLAT Petroleum Development Co.). She has won many recognitions, including the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners Excellence Award, Guardians of the Nation International Role Model Award, Fellow of the Institute of Brand Managers, and the maiden Microsoft UK Finance and Admin Measure of Excellence (FAME) Award. She holds a Masters degree in Development Economics from the University of Reading, UK

Yemi Pitan brings to Carent his hybrid experience as a dispute resolution expert and a commercial transactional Lawyer with over a decade of active practice experience. He has appeared at virtually all levels of courts from the High Court to the Supreme Court in Nigeria. He has, over the years litigated on a wide range of issues and matters such as Banking, Company law, Land, Intellectual Property, Criminal Law, Companies Proceedings and Election Petitions amongst others. He has advised on a couple of commercial transactions within Nigeria and cross border. He has acted as Lawyer for both Investor and Investee companies on both domestic and cross border private equity deals. Advised a venture Capitalist on a Multi-Million dollar investment in a virtual health service provider based in Nigeria and California. Yemi is an active member of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is a Notary Public for Nigeria.
Finance Manager
Ofure Obomighie has over 18 years of solid Accounting and tax experience having worked in leading multi-national Oil & Gas and manufacturing companies. She led the team at Accenture that changed the processes and systems for the National oil company in Nigeria (NNPC) and negotiated large contracts with the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) contract team and won contracts worth billions of naira for Invesys Systems Nigeria Limited. As Chief Financial Officer she produced the valuation documents and strategic financial projections for Dealdey Limited that won the company $10m investments from Swedish investors. She is a qualified accountant with CIMA, has an AAT qualification, B.sc Degree in Economics & MBA from Warwick university.
